Saturday, May 11, 2013 the citizens of Italy, Texas will be voting for a mayor and two city council members. The community in and around Italy will also be voting on an amendment proposed by the Ellis County Emergency Service District #3. The citizens of Milford will have both a city council and school board election.

• There are three seats open and three candidates filed for those seats, therefore, there will not be a school board election this year.
