Upcoming election information

Saturday, May 11, 2013 the citizens of Italy, Texas will be voting for a mayor and two city council members. The community in and around Italy will also be voting on an amendment proposed by the Ellis County Emergency Service District #3. The citizens of Milford will have both a city council and school board election.

Important dates and Information:
Last date to register to vote – Thursday, April 11
- Voter Registration Form
Deadline for Mail-in ballots – Friday, May 3
- Not a postmark deadline. Mail-in ballots must be mailed and received by the deadline.
- Instructions to vote by mail

City of Italy Mayoral Race

Italy City Council Candidates (2 seats):

Italy ISD School Board (3 seats)

  • There are three seats open and three candidates filed for those seats, therefore, there will not be a school board election this year. These new school board members will be sworn-in during the May 2013 meeting. Board members to be inducted: Larry Eubank (incumbent), Ida Overton and Salvador Ramirez.
