The Italy School Board of Trustees hired Catherine Hewett as the high school science teacher at a special meeting held Monday evening in the administration office.

The Italy ISD Board of Trustees will have a called meeting on Monday, July 16, 2012. The meeting will be held in the Administration Office at 300 S. College Street, Italy. Meeting time is set for 7:00pm.

The Italy ISD Board of Trustees will have a called meeting on Thursday, July 12 in the Italy ISD Administration Offices at 300 S. College Street, Italy. Meeting time is set for 6:00pm. Teacher resignations and new hires are the primary order of business for the board along with a budget workshop.

The Italy ISD School Board will have its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, June 21, 2012.  The meeting will be held in the Italy High School Band Hall at 7:00pm. In addition to the regular monthly business, the agenda slates two new hires for the district.

The Board of Trustees of the Italy Independent School District will have a called meeting on Monday, June 4th at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held in the administration office at the Italy High School campus (300 S. College Street, Italy). New hires are the primary action items being considered by the board during this meeting.

The Italy School Board of Trustees approved the transfer of $100,000 to athletic maintenance following an hour-long video presentation from Hank Hollywood, athletic director, Monday night at the group’s monthly meeting.

College, Italy. The school board has a full agenda this month. Contract renewals for the Elementary and High School principals, teacher resignations, football field bleacher improvements and business regarding the upcoming school board election are among the agenda items to be considered.

The Italy School Board of Trustees voted to enter into an agreement with Lockridge-Priest for an Alerton Control System for the dome at its monthly meeting Monday night.
