Stafford Elementary needs your help!
Calling all Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and family members as well as the entire community. Stafford Elementary along with help from Italy PTO want to give your children a wonderful Halloween treat! But they need your help.
On October 31st Stafford will be having a Book Character Parade and Trunk-or-Treat event to celebrate Halloween. The students will choose a character from a book and dress up as that character. Teachers will have students give oral presentations and written assignments that go along with what they are teaching. Students will parade their costumes outside while the Stafford PTO will have trunk loads of treats for the kids to go around and collect. The Trunk-or-Treat begins at 2:00PM
This is where they need your help. They need donated candy as well as vehicles. Remember they need enough for 300 students! Therefore they need lots of vehicles so that we have many trunks to fill with lots of candy treats. If you cannot bring a vehicle just come and hand out candy. They need as many ’trunks" and as much candy as they can get to make this a success for your kids. They need parents and family members to “just be there” — it makes the kids feel so special to see family members come to their events.
