We invite Italy senior adults to a cookout hamburger lunch at Central Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 24 at noon. Come and enjoy the fellowship of other seniors. Everyone knew the outcome of the game before it started. They knew the Baptist would win because they were the only ones playing. On Sunday evening, the members of First Baptist Church and Central Baptist Church met at the Johnny Jones Field to fellowship with each other and play a little softball. Members of all ages took the field to challenge each other on the field.

Italy resident and Pastor James Johnson has reschedule a prayer time to pray for the city and its leaders. The meeting was originally planned for March 23 but due to the weather conditions, he rescheduled the prayer time to Sunday, March 30.

Epiphany Catholic Church received a $25,000 grant on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from The Catholic Foundation. The funds were used for a just completed expansion of their parking lot. Thirty additional parking spaces, including two handicap spaces, were added.

The service begins at 6:30 pm at Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church. There will be a Festival of Choirs from six of the area churches and Pastor Preston Dixon will bring the Christmas message.
Pastor Lamar Jones has been the Youth Minister for the last five years at St. Luke African Methodist Episcopal Church in Waco. While under his leadership the youth group grew to about 60 kids, all active in singing in the choir and participating in the Junior Stewards program.
