George Scott had a dream!

Image:

His dream was that any student at Italy High School who worked hard and had a desire to go to college could do so.  He was also a dreamer and a planner and as such, he knew that this would require a lot of money and would need many people involved. This was not to be a one time scholarship, but a perpetual fund where only the interest on the principal was used, so that it would outlive us all.

No, it is not December 31st but the first day of school also brings to us a brand new start. If we can dream it, imagine it or think it, it all can become attainable through hard work and working together.”

Our loss – Cedar Hill’s gain

Image: Mr. Miller has had a great year at Stafford Elementary but now is taking the position as principal in Cedar Hill.

Jason Miller (Stafford Elementary principal) will be missed. We will no longer see his smiling face at 7:15 am meeting and greeting the students as they get off the bus. Nor will the students hear him tell them every day in the gymnasium that every day is a new day with endless possibilities and each day is going to be the best day ever.
